The Sledzieski Lab at UCSD is currently recruiting across all levels. We are recruiting candidates with computational and/or biology experience; interdisciplinary training is valued but not required. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, especially those traditionally under-represented in computing and in the life sciences. If you are unsure whether you would be a good fit for the lab, don’t hesitate to email me to ask.

PhD students

I will be recruiting PhD students to start in Fall 2027. Prospective students should apply through either the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute or Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BISB) PhD programs. Please mention my name in your application to be sure that I see it!
